Both the Auza family members and the seasons help drive attentive sheep-raising. Beautiful lambs are born in Yuma, Arizona, under the watchful eyes of Joe Auza and his son Joseph and family. Throughout the spring, the lambs graze on alfalfa. Then, once the summer heat begins, the lambs move to Colorado to enjoy the mountains near Williams, Arizona, where they consume fresh air and water, mountain grasses, flowers and brush. They remain in the mountains until fall or until the snow falls, sending the sheep back to Yuma.
